For letting users experience our products better, each software has a free trial version. And you can use all features of the software, though there are some limits like the file length for converting formats. Once you launch the software, a window will pop up, and you can check the differences between the free trial version and the registered version in it.
2. Is there any service for the free trial version users?
Of course. We would appreciate it if you use our software whether you are a user of the free trial version or the registered version. And we take the trial users’ questions as seriously as the registered users’.
3. What is the full version of the software?
After you purchase and register for the program, you can get the full version of your program, enabling you to enjoy all functions and services.
4. Can I use one registration code on both Windows and Mac computers?
No. The registration code of the Windows version can only be applied on the PC, the same as the Mac version. If you buy the wrong version, you can contact our support team through email to figure it out.
5. How to upgrade the software to the newest version?
Here are four ways for you to upgrade the software:
I. Launch the software and click Menu > Check Update…, then there will be a Check Update window telling you whether your program is up to date or not;
II. Launch the software and click Menu > Preference > Check for update automatically. Later, once we release the latest version and you are using the software, you can get the push notification of updating;
III. You can go to the official website of your software to download and install the latest version;
IV. We will send newsletters to remind you of some upgrades, activities, discounts, etc.

How do I record high resolution video?

Can I record the computer screen along with audio?

No. AVAide Screen Recorder can be used to record screen, videos, audio, gameplay, webcam and more without a watermark. You can feel free to use it to capture any content on your computer.
Sound card was not detected, how do I fix it?
If there is no sound card is being detected, it could be caused by the outdated sound drivers. You can try updating card drivers and the BIOS for your computer. Or it’s possible that your speaker is not plugged well. You can re-plug it again and have a check.

What can I do if recording phone screen on my computer fails because of Windows Defender Firewall?
There are mainly two solutions for you to solve this problem:
The first way is to allow the mirrorrender through the Windows Defender Firewall on your computer. Firstly, please press Windows + R on your keyboard and input control to the box to open the Control Panel window. Then you should click System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall, and seek out the mirrorrender under Allowed apps and features. Finally, check the two boxes of Private and Public after mirrorrender to allow allow the mirrorrender through the Windows Defender Firewall.
The second way is to turn off the Windows Defender Firewall on your computer directly. If the first solution cannot work, you can use this one. You can complete this way in the Control Panel too. Click System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off. Later, please choose Turn off Windows Defender Firewall under Private network settings and Public network settings.
What is the Screen Capture mode?
In AVAide Screen Recorder software, there are four screen capture modes to choose from for screen recording.
Auto Mode: This is the default mode to do recordings which enables the program to adopt itself to change recording quality based on the computer’s performance.
Mode 1 (Common): In this mode, the quality and compatibility are ensured.
Mode 2 (Windows 10 1903 and later): This mode has the ability to improve the recording quality. However, you should make sure that your computer system must be Windows 10 1903 and later.
Mode 3 (Common): If the above modes don’t work well or normally, you can choose this mode that could guarantee the smooth recorder but damaging quality to some extent.
What should I do when my device connected but cannot be detected?
For iOS devices:
Way 1. Check USB connection. You can re-connect your device to your computer, and then make sure that your device is unlocked and trust the computer.
Way 2. Confirm if iTunes is installed on your computer and check if it is updated.
Way 3. Make sure that Apple Mobile Device Service and Apple drivers are installed properly.
For Android devices:
Way 1. You can try changing the connection mode. There are three connection modes you can choose from, MTP, PTP and USB Mass Storage.
Way 2. You need to confirm if USB debug is enabled.
Way 3. Also, you can check if you have disabled AutoPlay on your Windows PC. If not, you can go to Settings and find the Device option, then click AutoPlay. Then, tick the box next to the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices option.

How to download and install USB driver for Android devices?
When you intend to connect your Android device to your computer for data management, screen recording, or anything else, it is essential to get the USB driver on your computer in advance.
First, you need to download the Android USB driver on your computer. For different Android brans, the USB driver also differ. You need to go to the official website of the device brand to download the USB driver. Then follow the instructions to install it on your computer.
What is USB debugging mode and how to enable it?
USB Debugging Mode enables the Android device to communicate with the Android Software Developer Kit (SDK) over the USB connections. It allows Android users to connect the device to the computer to proceed advanced operations, such as data management, log data checkout, and more.
To enable USB debugging mode on your device, you can follow the steps below.
For Android 2.3 or earlier:
Go to Settings, tap Application, and then tap Development. Then, Check USB Debugging Mode and turn it on.
For Android 3.0-4.1:
Navigate to the Settings app, and tap Developer Options. Check USB Debugging Mode.
For Android 4.2 or later:
Open your device and go to Settings. Scroll down to Build Number and tap it for 7 times successively. Then, go back to Settings and tap Developer Options. Then you can enable USB Debugging Mode.
